Our core values at Discovery focus on creating a child-centered environment within a structure of professional and knowledgable educators. Among these educators we expect the most nurturing and passionate early childhood lovers! A Discovery educator is not only knowledgable and nurturing, they are passionate and creative with their curriculum design. Discovery educators are great communicators and enjoy collaborating with their colleagues and our greater school community! We value diversity and encourage people of all backgrounds to apply! Did you know? Research shows that women report feeling as if they need to meet all of a job’s criteria, while men typically apply if they meet only 60% of the requirements. Minorities and women are both less likely than white men to apply for a job they may be qualified for! AND, with that said, male teachers are disproportionately underrepresented in the preschool education environment. No matter your race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status; if you feel this position could be right for you, then we want to meet you! If you LOVE early childhood education and you have a passion for creating beautiful school environments while collaborating with others, this could be the place for you!
